Psychotherapist

Sakinah Williams, LPC

Hello, and welcome to Made For Healing.

My name is Sakinah Williams, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges while building resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being. With more than 8 years of experience in behavioral health and human services, I have dedicated my career to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through a variety of mental health and life transitions.

My professional experience includes providing counseling, case management, behavioral health support, crisis intervention, and community-based services for diverse populations. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, life stressors, family conflict, and substance use-related challenges.

I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana State University and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sweet Briar College. My approach to counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized because I believe every person deserves care that recognizes their unique strengths, experiences, and goals.

At Made For Healing, I provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore challenges, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward meaningful change. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while tailoring treatment to each client's specific needs.

In addition to counseling services, I provide behavioral health assessments and evaluations designed to help individuals and families gain a clearer understanding of their needs and identify appropriate treatment recommendations.

My Mission

My mission is simple: to help individuals and families recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and move toward healing and growth. I believe healing is not about perfection—it's about developing the tools, insight, and support needed to create a healthier and more fulfilling life.

I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they work toward their goals and discover new possibilities for healing and wellness.
